Xaco, 16176 - Color Blocking Marfa TX - Limited Edition Fine Art Photography
Texaco is as rooted in Texas as its name implies. Just as these
well preserved tanks are rooted in the landscape. This was Marfa
frozen in time as well as it can. Sleepy as any town can be and riddled
with hidden gems. I was inspired by how old everything seemed and
by the towns unique architecture. It didn’t feel like anywhere else
I’ve been in the United States. When composing this image I used
my favorite color blocking technique.
